Anxiuos

The past couple of days I have been really anxious and worrisome! I keep turning it over to Jesus and I keep picking it up again. My faith in God is huge and my trust in His Word is also as big! Some days seem to bring worry to the front of the picture! I truly believe that enemy of our soul, attacks us, with darts that wound us and our peace and emotions tumble! So I keep praying and knowing that He that has begun the work will complete it! (Phil. 1:6)

I really have been relying on this scripture:

“Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. ” (Philippians 4:6-7, AMP)

I keep reminding myself about His Word and promises. Some days are just like that!

Peace

Dennis

    D Man,
Loran preached today and he told a story of going up a mountain in Egypt at 2am and it was in the dark. He is afraid of heights. Anyway, when he got to the top to watch the sun come up the light reveled the path that he walked up in the dark was only about 3 feet wide and at certain points the drop-off was 500 ft. He looked at the guide and told him there would be no way for him to get down because of the worry and fear. The guide said to him, “Just remember how the darkness protected you from what was all around you on the way up and you will be fine.” The point is that the darkness was his friend and sometimes the darkness keeps us from seeing what would really overwhelm us. I love you bro. Keep it up and walk strong in the darkness.
    Steve
