Life Everlasting

When He came on this earth He came with a promise and that promise is for life everlasting.  His decision to stand in the gap for the sin of mankind was dynamic in its approach and wonderful in its attitude.  His mercy that is being applied daily to each one that will call upon His wonderful Name is marvelous.  His love will always deliver us from the damaging effects of the heart of man.  When Jesus spoke to His disciples He referenced a point of spiritual bonding between man and Himself.  We can find this reference point in John 10:10 – The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. (John 10:10 ESV) This abundant life that is being referenced here is not only speaking of this life on earth but also the life in heaven that we will have for eternity. Can you imagine just for a moment what eternity will be like?  I cannot even begin to imagine what the sense of the heart will be like in heaven. To know that we will look into His face and live and that we will be able to see all the other great saints of God that has already left this world and is now present with the Lord. The Lord has prepared for us a wonderful home in heaven and I believe that we will be astonished and well pleased with all the abundance of life and love that will be there.  Most of us really cannot fathom what eternity will be like because we are so used to time as it is!  We know that start of a day and a close of the same, we also know that sense of hanger and want but in heaven, the essence of eternal life, we will not know any of those things.  His light will be the light of lives in full reality not just principal. His love will be seen in His fullness and not just felt.  This abundance is something that will not be able to be measured.  When the enemy comes He comes to destroy but the Blood of Jesus protects us and preserves us for life everlasting. His plan is for us to live in victory and to walk in triumphant praise.  If you can just lift up your heart to Him and ask for Him to renew your mind and restore your heart to the condition of holiness and power.  His purpose for coming on this earth was to restore you back to the Father in heaven.  He has completed His task and is now interceding for you.  Just call upon Him and He will give you life and that life will be more that you can ever imagine.
