The Ultimate Gift

The “Gift” of salvation is offered to all that will receive His great “Love”.  His gift to all was not inexpensive at all.  We live in a world that is constantly looking for a bargain or a sale.  What is the least expensive or what is the most for your dollar is the usually what people draw to.  But His “Gift of Salvation” does not fall into this category of thinking or even into the process of everyday living.  His offer to receive salvation came at the expense of His only begotten Son, Jesus suffering and dying on Calvary’s Cross. He paid a tremendous price for mankind to have the opportunity to come back to the Father through the Son.  The Word declares that we have been bought…purchased by Him and we are no longer our own.  To a true “believer” that is righteousness and blessing rolled up into one!  It is freedom from sin and despair and it not bondage at all.  The debt that we all owed was to enormous for us to pay and the Father of Lights and Mercy paid the price for our sin by spending His best, Jesus, His Son.  The Lord reached into time and spent more than enough to purchase mankind back from the grips of fear and eternal darkness.  So why look for a bargain at the altar when you can receive His love and His forgiveness as a gift?  He has already paid the price!  The “Eternal Gift of Salvation” is offered to all that will call upon His Name!  He will answer and He will save.  He will clothe you with righteousness and He gives you wisdom.  His angels will encamp around you and deliver you and He will never leave you nor forsake you…(Hebrews 13:5) and that is a guarantee!  Salvation is not a bargain basement sale but the greatest gift that you will ever receive.  He declared that all mankind should come to Him and He would in no way cast them out!  What a wonderful invitation!  He is saying come and I will give you the greatest gift ever and it is all paid for, you do not have to look any further!  His desire is that you repent from your sin and turn to Him and receive His love and comfort for all eternity.  His love covers and His love will take away all sin and fear.  It is all because He loves you (John 3:16-17) and wants to give you the best all the time. What an ultimate gift!
