Trusting What Is Invisible
Now that is where I live constantly. I trust what I cannot see. What I see can only be what is for the now! I like looking into the future with eyes of faith and a heart full of hope! Not just for myself but for those I serve. The Lord has always shown me promise without allowing me to see it in the now but in the future! I am not being weird here, it is just as real for me to live like this than it is for someone to live for the moment. With this kind of faith and reliance on Him, I know that when I get to where He is taking me it will be a great place. The journey is long and the road gets a bit rough (actually really rough) but my eyes are on what He has told me is there.
I like the story of Abraham looking for a city whose foundations were built by God not man. He agreed to go to a place where he did not know where He was going. Also, the story of Noah is really cool! He built a large boat, a really large boat, in his front yard where there was not any water for miles upon miles. He did his faith “talk” right in the front yard, not behind closed doors or even in a fenced in back yard! Now to me that is what I embrace, yes, that is the faith that He is showing me! I enjoy looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith. How about you, what do you see?
My Heart To Yours
