Concluding Praise

Concluding Praise

Just the mention of His Name can bring praise to your lips. Proceeding from your heart proceeds the thankfulness and worship that belongs to God.

Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. (Hebrews 13:15 ESV)

What an honor and what gratitude we can show to Him for His glorious works that we witness daily. Coming into His presence with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise.

Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! (Psalm 95:2 ESV)

He is above all gods and He is the great King of kings. His mercy endures forever! Every morning is a new day to praise Him. Waking up the first words from your mouth should be your praise to the King. Prayer and praise go together as identical communications to the Lord. When times are great or when they are tough we should always praise Him for His provision and deliverance.  Always learn to praise God for who He is, not for what He has done.  For He has done great things. No matter what society may say, He is God and deserves the pleasures of our praise continually.

How does one conclude in praise? It just does not happen. Praise surrounds the Father in heaven and our prayers are like alms and sweet smelling incense before Him. Conclusive praise is not a possibility. Worship is a life that is continuously sacrificing daily before the Throne of Grace.

The more we learn of the Lord the more we will surrender our will to His. Lifting up holy hands to a Holy God is not to be looked at a burdensome but awesome and a privilege. This privilege is granted to all that will acknowledge Him which then is joined with the angels who worship continuously before His Throne.  Praise is not just a feeble action or a motion of lifting hands or dancing before Him. Praise is a magnificent activity that has no end. He desires the praises of His people. Let us join all creation in praise and worship.

Sing aloud to God our strength; shout for joy to the God of Jacob! (Psalm 81:1 ESV)

Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! (Psalm 100:1 ESV)

Take time this week and praise Him wherever you are! Be bold in praise and acknowledge Him before the peoples of this earth. Be sincere in your praise and see just how good the Lord is.
