As we wake everyday thoughts penetrate the depths of the atmosphere of our minds. Thoughts of yesterday’s results that may have effected lives of others or maybe just a simple thought of unique fantasy! The wonders of the depth of the human mind can be equated with a playground or a torrent storm. The new day has begun and a fresh start to accomplish the impossible or maybe even the improbable. From the opening thought of a wakeful mind to the closing thought of long but, hopefully, productive day we see through our minds eye! Like the blind person who cannot virtually see but can create the thought of sight, so must we be in our walk with God each day!
One person once said, “If I can just see it I can believe it!” One man responded and said, “If I can believe it, then I can see it.” A long silence fell and a small but courageous voice rose with the confidence of the a lion and stated, “If I can see it then it is to easy to accomplish, If I believe it, then I can have a chance to get it done! However, if I can look through His eyes, that are able to see tomorrow before it comes, I know that I will see it complete and finished.”
We must learn to look through His eyes, then we can trust the impossible, silence the voices of improbabilities and rejoice in the peace of real faith that comes from His own breath!
Each thought you have from wakefulness till the depths of sleep, let these thoughts look through His eyes and witness the tomorrow He promised for you!

For those who are concerned, I have been in Windows “hell”! As many of you know, I am a really “techie” guru type guy! Well about three days, unannounced even to myself, I fell deep into Windows “hell”!!!! I just came back from there! Not a pretty place to be. Thank God, for the talents He gave me in computing or I wold still be there and may have never made it back! However, I won, but I am bruised and totally frustrated with Microsoft! My announcement is clearly this! Windows has lost my respect and my friendship! I know that Mr. Gates is sad about this. Does Mr. Gates even know who I am?
I have a mini mac that is loaned to me, an old G4 one, with a Microsoft USB keyboard! My neighbor, who is Apple engineer, loaned me this till I get my own Macbook.
Anything is better than the “hell” I just visited!
I am going to load Leopard on it tonight! Yes, I know all about Apple hardware and software, just in case you are wondering! I will blog later and let you know how it is going! Check back soon, because I am back and Windows is out the door! Is that you knocking Mr Jobs? Please come in and lets be friends!
I also have been dealing with Verizon, on cell phones! Another story at another time. Is that my iPhone ringing? ( I wish)! I hope Santa brings me one of those!

P.S. Sorry, for the nonspiritual, but really fleshly blog!

What a wonderful, gracious, tremendous, and awesome day it was in Santa Cruz! No, I am not discussing the weather! Today was a record breaking day for Potter’s Hand, AKA Acts of Love Foundation, Inc. We celebrated our Thanksgiving with all the people we serve right in the center of town. They tell me, I do not count peoples heads, (it really frustrates me when people do that), that we had 286 people came to the function! They came to hear the Word spoken and then have a Thanksgiving dinner together. Thar’s right we do our dinner the following Sunday of Thanksgiving! I am such a rebel!
I spoke from Psalm 63:7
“For You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings will I rejoice. ” (Psalm 63:7, AMP)
You see, we do not have a building, we do not have doors to lock nor rules that you have to listen to me speak (or any one else that may speak at any function we have) to partake in the meal and celebration. You come if you want and listen if you want but know this, you are loved anyway! Wow, what a novel idea or concept: You are loved!
I am really stoked (old hippie term) about what happened today. What else is really cool, the only ones I invited was Jesus and a few friends.
By the way the weather was great also!

Can you Post Script in a journal?
P.S. A church, Community Church of God, sent over some helpers, about 12! They were awesome, young people. Then some people showed up who were from Capitola, 2 or 3 and they are Catholics. I mean we don’t play religious Theological and Dogmatic games! Read Luke 10:30-37 then think about it! The people we serve, and Jesus, aren’t hung up on names of faiths, they just know when they are loved! What I am finding out also is that those who want to be part of this ministry are young and desiring to do more that sit in church and be religious!

Today, it hit me! I had a real Duh moment (or maybe a spiritual one). Kathy and me were discussing choices people make and how they affect them and others around them. I said, I just don’t understand why God does not interject into those decisions (generically speaking). Then it hit me, BAM, God does not interfere with man’s will! We have to surrender our will to His. Alright, I know, what took me so long to get this? I cannot really answer that but it felt good when it came. It answered some questions for me that have been agitating me for years! Actually, I wanted to get home and journal this right away! But we were headed into Santa Cruz to shop! Kathy and my daughter, Erin and the grand baby, Sierra Rose. I wasn’t going to interfere with their will at all! (I am sure they were not going to surrender to me turning around and heading back to Boulder Creek)!
Jesus stated: “Saying, Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but [always] Yours be done. ” (Luke 22:42, AMP)
This was a turning point in the history of mankind! Surrendering your will to His could very well be the turning point in your life that you need!

Well, this is a classic post. As you know, I am not to “classic” posting type guy! What is classic anyway?
But I am a thankful person for what God has done for me in my life and yours. Tomorrow we will celebrate the founding of our country and all the blessings that we have in our lives. We will also eat till we cannot eat anymore! I am sure that overeating is not good for us but…..it is Thanksgiving you know!
Instead of telling you several things what I am thankful for, which there is a lot, I would like to challenge you to remember some things.
Well, there is just a few. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

It is a retail world starting November 23rd. Everyone and every store is staging for the Holidays! Some stores are even opening up for business at 4:00 am this year! With the economy being thrashed by the cost of real estate and the war this staging is very important for gaining the profits in the fourth quarter of the year. So many businesses make up there losses during this time span. They stage to be successful!
Well, let’s look at this from a spiritual sense. The Church, the Body of Christ, should be staging for these holidays! She should be open 24/7 with one thing in mind: showing compassion and long-term care for those hurting because of a desolate economy. Her prophets should be speaking the truth of the Word and not some puffed up stuff that sounds so mystic that is appeals to the immature hearer. This is a great time for Her to make up losses for past apathy and lethargy that accompanies Her services each Sunday!
God redefined humanity when Jesus was born! This year I hope and pray that the Church redefines Her presence in each locality, from the dynasties to the my four and no more bunch. This is celebration time! Celebrating the birth of the Savior of the world. I am so glad that He came! I am going to heaven because He stepped out of the womb towards Calvary and never quit!
Take time to stage your life, your family and your church to redefine this holiday season!

Today started early with prayer and a morning walk (5:00 am to be exact). Then the trip into Santa Cruz to socialize with the the crowd of people that most, if any, do not want nor desire to socialize with. As I walked quietly (almost unnoticed to those that I came to spend time with) I looked over their faces and saw despair and deep worry. So, I decided to just walk quietly, hoping not to be noticed at all. It felt strange, almost sinful, that I would want not to be seen. But the purpose was to teach me to look as Jesus would look into the hearts of men. I felt like I was the shadow of someone they did not recognize. This was a lesson never to be forgotten, I hope! What I noticed and how I felt were almost identical yet separated from one another as thought two persons were agitating one another. It was the way I was supposed to view the undesirable, the hurting, the unrecognizable. It came very clear, like the water from a deep spring, I must always see the hurt and the pain. For me to truly understand the love Christ has for men, I must see and feel the pain of those I serve. From now on I am going to walk quietly, see clearly, and love courageously!

“Mercy!” That is what I heard when I spoke in a church a long time ago!, Mercy! There it was again. This saintly personality sitting about four rows back on my left would say it every now and then. I noticed when most people would agree by stating ‘Amen’, she would say, ‘Mercy!’
I am reflecting on this for the purpose of making the point of how important God’s mercy is to all of us. As this word was being stated, I realized that the compassion and forbearance shown by God toward men is absolutely awesome. Mercy speaks to the issue of Propitiation (the Atoning sacrifice) that Christ did for us on Calvary! Mercy reminds us of the love God has for this world. Mercy points directly to the blood poured out that great day! So now that we have that fact down, let’s look at this: The mercy we show one another! Oops! I knew that would raise an eyebrow or two! You see we want mercy, but do we really want to show mercy that same way: On the grounds of it’s real meaning not on the grounds of a self indulged definition! Showing mercy to another is really this: showing high favor or compassion to someone. You know, to someone that you really would like to not show mercy too! It is really easy to show mercy to someone that is narly in your sight, but that does not take much “spiritual” gumption! Be really spiritual and kick the old man out of your life and let God do His thing through you! Lastly, mercy endures forever!
” Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” (Psalm 136:1, NKJV)
That’s right! Each day His mercies a fresh and new. Each day we can show mercy to someone who has offended us or who is in need! Don’t ever try to fool yourself! The world needs and desires mercy! This world needs you and God desires you to show mercy!
I am glad that saintly personality did not take the common ground! Agreeing with everything. No way, mercy is what should be shown not just being agreeable.

Today I spent plenty of time just pondering about my purpose here on this earth. It has been plenty of years since I surrendered to serve Him in a radical way. I pondered this thought: Have I made made an impact on society and if not that , at least, a few individuals for Christ’ sake. I really mean this! I really believe purpose is for the most part, building a relationship with others and impacting their lives with Christ’s love. Showing by action the principles of a true relationship with Christ and how cool that can be. I quess that I will never really know how much that I have done, but I hope that He will get the praise for what little or much that has been accomplished. Hey, it is a real thing for me, this relationship with Jesus.
