Each day we have a new opportunity for hope in our lives. We also have the opportunity to share hope with those who are seemingly “hopeless”. With that stated I would like to reassure each of you (and myself) that the enemy of our soul, does not want us to succeed in anything we do, especially in “faith”. We wrestle against an enemy that cheats and has no love at all for the game! He has decided to tear us apart and spit us out! Paul stated that our weapons are not carnal:

“For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds, ” (2 Corinthians 10:4, AMP)

He also mentions the intensity of warfare each day by informing us of just who the enemy is:

“For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. ” (Ephesians 6:12, AMP)

The intensity of this scripture should take hold of every warrior for Christ! Even though I really wonder if most Christians are ducks in a row or tin ducks at the shooting gallery!  Living this live in “la la” heaven on earth never imaging that the devil is destroying this generation!

We need to fight, in prayer, and break down the powers of darkness.  It isn’t over till the last trumpet sound! Come on, this generation is worth it! I will not bore you with statistics; however, there are a lot of hurting and immoral youth out here in the world!

One out of five children today attending Junior High and Middles School has witnessed friends in a sexual act.  Aids is up over 20% in teens and young adults.  These are just a few stats that rattle my soul!

Here is my statement: You can’t have them and they will belong to Jesus, through love and faith!

Just a question to ponder: What are you doing for this generation? Piety won’t cut it at all!

Somebody needs to get out of the walls of the Church and release this generation and empower them!  Stop worrying about what you are going to wear to church and start preparing on what you are going to share to this generation!
