Just quick word to all that continue to wonder about what God is doing. He is consistently doing spiritual maintenance on all those that are willing to come to Him in humility. The scripture is really straight forward when is states that those who wait upon the Lord shall…

Isaiah 40:31 (ESV)
31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

We have every right to wait upon Him and we can even enter boldly…

Hebrews 4:16 (ESV)
16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Just think, God is always willing to do spiritual maintenance on us! All we have to do is ask!

Imagine for a moment if the world we live in did not know of God and did not care to know Him! Actually, it would be safe to say that the world be a real mess! The thought of this brings shivers up my spine and clearly makes me want to worship Him who is known as God, Creator, Master and Savior.

Now that we have set that as a foundation, it seems really important to mention that the enemy of the souls of mankind, has been crafty in his doings! Absolutely in all that he seemingly does in the natural has its place in the supernatural or spiritual realm.  Terms that bring us to reckoning with some of the emotion we feel when we witness the damage that has bruised the lives of those we love.  Have you ever come to reason with why after prayer, you may sense the pressure or oppression of spiritual ridicule? The craftiness of the enemy is employed to condemn and destroy the prayers that you have offered up for others.

Never think for one moment that he is successful in his craftiness! He is caught in the gaze of a Holy God who watches over you day and night. He never slumbers nor sleeps! (Psalm 121). He keeps you from harms way and lights your path with His Word. The Lord also keeps us from the craftiness of the enemy by hedging us in and delivering us out of all our troubles. Even when the enemy comes in like a might rushing water, the Lord raises up a standard (a wall) that cannot be penetrated.

God has prepared for us His own armor to wear and continue in life with. The area of that armor that speaks loudly and clearly is the “Shield of Faith”. This article of protective wear stops the fiery darts of the enemies lies. Faith is soaked with the Word of God. So every dart that hits, is dowsed in the Word and put out!

He may be crafty but he is caught in the trap that is set through promised deliverance, righteous living and committed prayer!

You know what? I have spent literally thousands of hours on computer. Yep, that is right learning and programing, designing, and surfing. In last few years with all the blogging and bandwidth sharing through email and such, I can only say that some people need to get a grip!  With the latest OMG stuff about if women should be ordained and how the COG is going to get through this last assembly without back-pedaling is absolutely ludicrous!

Some of these bloggers and email’s have finally got there soapbox and should I add a mic “on the GA floor” and guess what you should have been more courageous then. Your words of old “traditional” hoopla isn’t being held up anymore. You type like you are an aristocrat with long fingernails. Just tapping away on keys because you think you have something that will float in this 21st Century!  Give it up! Heaven and earth are rejoicing in the formal outbreak of a radical generation who will not put up with the “false food” of bureaucracy that has choked the COG for years. If there is a dry taste in your mouth with some “crunchy” sensations that is just the dust you getting as you are being left behind to find that your salt has lost its savor.

I have read some blogs lately and I thought out loud: Why are these good, honest, and truly radical people reacting to some of the “literary chunk” that is being type and sent out on important bandwidth? Keep positive and don’t be getting into foolish disputes. Let those who live by the law get saved by the law! That is not possible! So let those who live by love get saved by love! Now that is possible, because God is love!

The “shift” spiritually is begun and there is no words nor mumblings that one can write or orate that will change what God has set forth before the foundations of the earth.

It is so interesting to draw from the history of the Internet and see how far we have come. Again, the bandwidth slows down with the “carnal” but thought to be ’spiritual” weight of words that are but a ripple in a vast ocean of real truth.

I will keep watching and reading, shaking my head, wondering from what planet these people come from!

Today, was a mark from God that we will never forget.  We birthed a new prayer meeting which will take precedence over every traditional setting in the Central Coast Church.  Church will not be in any way traditional there at all. We will pray and continue to pray each week on Sunday till the Lord states ‘not to’. No more struggles in continuing in traditional church application and method. From now on it is prayer in power, worshipful prayer and praise!

We are going to go on a Forty Day fast starting in September for the Bay Area to be freed from the evilness that is so present.

This is so exciting!!!  Send me all your prayer requests and we will pray for them and more.

Remember, prayer moves the hand of God!

Best

Wondering and wandering through life you often find yourself in a world full of lies and deceptions. This really sounds like a line from a book or something but it really is the matter at hand. Maybe it could be a great new movie or something because it sounds like that is where it fits the most.

Where I se it more often that I wold like to confess is in the world of the “church”.  No, this is not a blog post to crank up the interest of a “new” item to send out across the blog-o-sphere. It is simply the reality that we face in this modern time. It has crept up and through the generations recently. Climbers, socializers, unpredictable relationship builders, those looking for central camera on a stage of who’s who!

Simply we must get back to the fundamentals of the Word of God! I like what Jesus stated:

John 8:31-32 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him,  “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (ESV)

  1. The Truth is: I love God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit
  2. The Truth is: I love my family
  3. The Truth is: I love to preach
  4. The Truth is: I love to pray
  5. The Truth is: I love to praise
  6. The Truth is: I love people
  7. The Truth is: I love to hear the Truth

There are seven “Truths” that I love! I love many more truths but these are the foundation for the rest.

Today I was pondering a thought: The crisis of so many never seeing what God has for them. Wow, I thought, people can really have the world if they would just trust God in all that He has promised.

Then it struck me: People see the world only through what they can comprehend as a sizable goal. In other words, a city may be what they can reach, but a world awaits a faithful vision. The world is a large as you make it. Your world my be just your backyard or your place of employment. However, the world is as much a part of your ministry as you are part of it!

Look over the fence, break out of the box, stomp tradition that imprisons your vision. Run the race to win! Win the race that you run! Look beyond the horizon, see past your tomorrow and embrace your hope.

Vessels in the house of God! What they are made of and what they hold. Interesting, when you think about the intense statement here in the Word of God:

2 Timothy 2:20-21 (ESV)
20 Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and clay, some for honorable use, some for dishonorable.
21 Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.

The question beams out of the text and rips into the heart: Which one are you?

When reading the the Psalms this week, I realized that Psalm 107 reached into my heart and gripped it.  I sat and stared the psalm and began to thank God that I had been part of the “Some Club”.  Those that literally needed God in “some” condition that was engraved in my nature. So instead of writing about the experience,  I will just place it for you to read. I hope that you experience the same gratitude for being part of and delivered from the “Some Club”.

Psalm 107 (ESV)
1 Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! 2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble 3 and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south. 4 Some wandered in desert wastes, finding no way to a city to dwell in; 5 hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them. 6 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. 7 He led them by a straight way till they reached a city to dwell in. 8 Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! 9 For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. 10 Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and in irons, 11 for they had rebelled against the words of God, and spurned the counsel of the Most High. 12 So he bowed their hearts down with hard labor; they fell down, with none to help. 13 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. 14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and burst their bonds apart. 15 Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! 16 For he shatters the doors of bronze and cuts in two the bars of iron. 17 Some were fools through their sinful ways, and because of their iniquities suffered affliction; 18 they loathed any kind of food, and they drew near to the gates of death. 19 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. 20 He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction. 21 Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! 22 And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of his deeds in songs of joy! 23 Some went down to the sea in ships, doing business on the great waters; 24 they saw the deeds of the Lord, his wondrous works in the deep. 25 For he commanded and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea. 26 They mounted up to heaven; they went down to the depths; their courage melted away in their evil plight; 27 they reeled and staggered like drunken men and were at their wits’ end. 28 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. 29 He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. 30 Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven. 31 Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! 32 Let them extol him in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders. 33 He turns rivers into a desert, springs of water into thirsty ground, 34 a fruitful land into a salty waste, because of the evil of its inhabitants. 35 He turns a desert into pools of water, a parched land into springs of water. 36 And there he lets the hungry dwell, and they establish a city to live in; 37 they sow fields and plant vineyards and get a fruitful yield. 38 By his blessing they multiply greatly, and he does not let their livestock diminish. 39 When they are diminished and brought low through oppression, evil, and sorrow, 40 he pours contempt on princes and makes them wander in trackless wastes; 41 but he raises up the needy out of affliction and makes their families like flocks. 42 The upright see it and are glad, and all wickedness shuts its mouth. 43 Whoever is wise, let him attend to these things; let them consider the steadfast love of the Lord.

I hope that this speaks to you as it continues to speak to me!

Best

I love how Isaiah wrote the ending of chapter 40 and the flow of God’s blessing those who wait on Him!

Isaiah 40:29-31 (ESV)
29 He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.
30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;
31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Not much to add to this but the fact that I have lived this for 33 years. Serving Him and waiting, never thinking for a moment that He would ever fail. I have failed plenty of times but He has always picked me up and kept me going.  I just want to add again that the Lord is so cool!

Just a small note today on a thought I had during prayer: The thought came into my spirit after reading this verse in Luke 15

Luke 15:17 (ESV)

17 “But when he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with hunger!

This is so true! yes, this is the famous story of the Prodigal Son.  What amazes me though, is the former part of the verse: ‘But when he came to himself’. So many people are walking around in a blur to who Jesus really is. Not just that but what He came on this earth to do. So much erroneous doctrine is spreading these days that people are really confused. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God! He came to save the world from the curse of sin and bring freedom to those in bondage!

Luke 4:18-19 (ESV)
18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Just like the Prodigal son, I hope that people wake up to His love and His power to save!  It is time to stop eating the food of this world, spiritually speaking, and come to yourselves and see the blessing is just a decision away! I made that decision and it is worth it!

Best
