Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Php 4:6-7 ESV).

I. Be Careful And Be Wise

II. Each Day Start With Prayer

III. Petitioning With Thanksgiving

IV. Focusing On The Lord

1. Peace

2. Understanding

3. Guarding Your Seat Of Emotions

Peter confirmed this by stating that we should cast all our cares upon Him for He cares for us! (1 Peter 5:7) Care and prayer are mutually opposed in the prayer closet. Bringing your petitions before the Lord coupled with “thanksgiving” will bring deliverance and freedom miraculously. Just as if did for Paul and Silas as they were freed from the deepest prison. (Acts 16:25) How great it must have been when the chains fell off and the doors were opened. Peace generated in their hearts, as as it should, when thanksgiving is shown from the depth of the heart. Being confident in your focus, which is God, knowing the He is able to do anything that we ask or think. Actually, He is exceedingly and abundantly more than able (Eph. 3:20) to set us free. Fear may try to captivate your heart but when God is your focus what should you fear?

Faith is your understanding at this point of prayer where all your heart is poured out before God with thanksgiving! Your natural powers cannot compare to the power which prayer brings when you focus it on God. Anything you ask in His Name, He will do it! You find a deep security in your “place” of prayer. That security will surround your heart and mind and will continue to be a bulwark around you!  Thanksgiving is welded together with praise giving the chains and bars no power at all because Christ has entered into your “place” of prayer. So the purpose of your request and petition is greeted with purpose. The seat of your emotions where fear can become king if not bounced on by faith and hope! Your heart and mind, are washed in faith and hope! All this has been accomplished by fully trusting in what God can do for you! He can take your impossibility and make it a possibility. Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised!
