The day that we live in makes a tremendous impression even on the Christian.   If there is a time or hour, if you may, to show forth the life that has been provided for us – it is now!  The Word teaches us that He is the Master of who we are.  In John 15:5 Jesus states that we are nothing without Him! That seems so harsh when you first hear those words or even read them.  But really they are quite comforting when you realize that He has chosen us to be His friends and representatives.  Paul wrote an interesting statement in 1 Cor. 1:30 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption. We are in Christ!  We are being mastered by the Master.  He is our wisdom.  He takes the right way by the right means to reach the right goal! He is our righteousness.  By His blood being applied to our lives we have right standing before God. He is our sanctification.  He has separated us unto Himself for service sake. He is our redemption.  He has paid the price He did not owe, He paid the debt that was not His – for us! He has redeemed us back to the Father. The debt against us is not viewed as simply cancelled, but is fully paid. Christ’s blood or life, which he surrendered for them, is the “ransom” by which the deliverance of his people from the servitude of sin and from its penal consequences is secured.  Praise God! We are free to serve Him!  He is the Master of who and what we are.  I challenge all of you to live that life that has been given to you – Holy and without blemish.  Let Him be a Christian through you!
