After His resurrection the Lord continued to appear to people and minister His love and instruction to them.  Two people on the Emmaus road met Jesus and did not recognize Him till He revealed to them who He was.   He appeared to His disciples as they hid themselves from the officials and people of Jerusalem.  He rebuked them and also instructed them in what was happening around them.  He answered their questions and even appeared again to make sure the even the doubting disciple, “Thomas” was convinced that He had risen.  He continued to show Himself throughout the region for the next forty days.  He then ascended into the heavens before nearly five hundred witnesses.  We are promised that He will appear again in the air to receive His “bride” the body of Christ and “we” will be with Him for all eternity.  As we await the second coming we must never forget nor must we be amiss in our responsibility to live for Him in the power of His love.  He is now indwelling in us through His Spirit and we have His presence with us “spiritually” at all times.  When you begin to pray He is there to hear you and also to answer you.  His Word is alive with instruction and also with testimonies of answered prayer.  We are to live a life that is full of His mercy and His love.  The miraculous happens to those that trust in Him and believe His Word.  As we live each day to spread His Word and to worship Him we must not forget the love that He has bestowed upon us.  That love which is rich in compassion and understanding is shed abroad in our hearts through His Holy Spirit.  Each day brings another opportunity for the Lord to bless us and to provide us with knowledge and wisdom.  His manifestations in the world today are wonderful and have brought awesome results to His “church.”  The Word explains to us that He fulfills every promise that He has spoken to us.   The express image of His glory has been impressed into our hearts and we have the power to communicate this through being a living epistle of His actions here on this earth.  The life that we now live we are to live in the joy and the expectation of His soon coming appearance to reveal Himself in the fullness of His glory.  The reality of all that we can place into words is that He has never ceased to appear to His people since the beginning of time.  Let us always take into account that He is here now by His Spirit and He will appear in His fullness soon to receive what He has purchased through His crucifixion and resurrection.  Look through your spiritual eyes and see Him in this world even now.
