God is good and He is greatly to be praised. We can thank God for many things but of course we should always praise Him for who He is. He is the Almighty God and the Father of this beautiful creation. As we continue to serve Him we come to many different crossings in our journey back to Him. When Jesus was about to be taken up to the Father (to sit at His right hand, Hebrews 1:3) He spoke to the disciples an incredible word of promise: Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you. (John 16:7 ESV) The Holy Spirit has come and He has brought with Him the Word of the Lord and the anointing that flow with the Word. One must learn to flow with the Word of God. When the Spirit begins to show you the “truth” of a matter or what you must do, there should not be any hesitation to obey Him. A good analogy would be that one should not try to swim upstream when flowing with the course of the waters flow. The Spirit of God desires to use you and He desires for you to obey Him in every circumstance. Being educated on flowing with the Spirit is very important in any “Believers” life. The Word of God gives an excellent illustration on flowing with the Spirit:And when they bring you to trial and deliver you over, do not be anxious beforehand what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. ( Mark 13:11 ESV) As you can see that is one time that you would love to be able to flow with and in the Spirit of God. Another one to look at is when Paul was establishing churches in Asia. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing there, urging him and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” (Acts 16:9 ESV) The opportunity that the Hoy Spirit gives us daily to flow in what He is doing is awesome. The “key” to all this is to learn how to listen to Him and that is accomplished through prayer. The Word declares: ‘Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. (Jeremiah 33:3 ESV) Thank God for all that He does. He moved into our hearts and said, “Follow Me.” Can you abide with that?
