When the revelation of salvation is realized and activated in the spirit-man then a person will have a total relationship with God.  In the Book of Romans the writer Paul declared that we no longer are under condemnation as long as we do not allow the “flesh” to dictate to us.   Everyone that is called by His Name must be convicted, convinced, committed, and consumed by the Word of God.  If not the powers of the enemy have open season on the believer who is not fully convinced of the salvation provided by the Blood of Jesus. The word convicted means: To make aware of one’s sinfulness or guilt.  Being aware of one’s condition of the soul and heart brings the person to a place of repentance and mourning.  This is where belief in the word justification comes into light as found in Romans 5: 1-3.  We are justified by faith. Not only are we to be convicted but also convinced! The word convinced means: To bring by the use of argument or evidence to firm belief or a course of action.  In others words being fully persuaded that the gospel is powerful and able to save.  Paul stated this in 2 Timothy 1:12.  He believed God for every word that was spoken and written.  The next word that ascribes to us the spiritual nature of a dynamic relationship with Almighty God is commitment. The word commitment means: The state of being bound emotionally or intellectually to a course of action or to another person or persons.  Have an emotional attachment to God is necessary.  Love is an emotion.  It takes action to be in love with the Lord or anyone.  Love is not just a word it states commitment to the highest degree.  That is why Jesus stated that the greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your made up of (Mark 12:30).  The last word in the list is the word consumed.  This word means: To absorb; engross.  When the flesh does not dictate to you, then and only then, will you be consumed or absorbed in your relationship with God.  He is a consuming fire and a jealous God (Hebrews 12:29; Exodus 20:5)
