Today, as any other day, began with the sun coming up and the business of humanity crowding time that the volume of space needed to complete each task is crushed. The many difficulties that face each person each day is becoming overwhelming. The scripture puts a nice flavor to this kind of pressure: I can do all things through him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13 ESV) Searching through history one can find story after story of nations of people that were overwhelmed with life and wondering how to conquer the problems before them. Kings would pass degrees and concessions were made to try and ease the stress levels of each era in history. There was never an era like the one Christ entered into! He came to show light in darkness and encourage the hurting through the miraculous provision and healing power of His love.
As Paul began his ministry he faced obstacles that many never teach about or even act as though they existed. His life was one of hardship after hardship bringing the Gospel to a hardened world which was full false religions and mixed beliefs of just who God was. He never gave up fighting the good fight of faith (2 Timothy 4:7) and instructed his son in the faith, Timothy, to fight that good also. (1 Timothy 1:18; 1 Timothy 6:12) Paul had run the race and had experienced the “press” (Philippians 3:12) without quitting. He simply entrusted the scripture about doing all things because he knew where his power came from. He looked up to where his help came from and he knew that his help came from the Lord. (Psalm 121:1-2) There is no surprise at this when you take at face value the life that Paul led and how he would look at difficulties and never back down from them, even if it meant his imprisonment or death. (2 Corinthians 11:24-28) His abilities came through faith in a God who had given him life and purpose. Each person has purpose and that purspose or plan of life must be sought out before a holy God. He, the Lord Almighty, knows the weaknesses of each person and is willing to be made strong through those weaknesses. (2 Corinthians 12:9) Never presuppose the outcome of life because of the weaknesses that do exist in your heart. God is there and His will is to bring you through to the other side of each circumstance and situation that is difficult or dangerous.
The Word promises that when one is in relation with Jesus Christ that He is more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37-39) and is an overcomer by the Blood of the Lamb. (Revelations 12:11) Jesus gives us strength in the inner man and gives wisdom along with being actively involved in every physical or mental effort as the achievements are gained each day. The confession of your lips should never be I cannot do all things but quite the contrary, I can do all things through Christ Jesus who gives me the strength to overcome each obstacle that endeavors to keep me from reaching my goal. That the “dunamis” given to you by the Holy Spirit means that you have the power, strength and ability to accomplish each day every task that is set before you. You have given a spirit of love, power and of sound mind, not a spirit of timidity (2 Timothy 1:7)

Through the days of delight and the days of despair the one thing that should be always noted is the good that has been done. The good that has touched and inspired the lives in the circle of influence that is around you. Some may think and even try to teach that walking in Christianity is a always good and always comfortable. Well, that is now at all how it is. Christianity calls for faith and faith calls for investment and investment calls for hope and hope answers with a clear toned sound: Keep going and keep believing for it will come to pass. Remember the good that has happened and never concentrate on the bad. Negative thought will slow down your pace and even stop you in your tracks as you move further into the promise that God has spoken into your life. Discouragement may arise and the only way that most handle discouragement is to start to feel guilty and also blame undue circumstances for the immediate emotion. The best was to face your difficulties is head on and with prayer. Never forgetting the good that you have done and the hope that you have brought into others lives. The Lord our God gave out freely to al that are His a spirit of power, love and a sound mind (disciplined mind). (2 Timothy 1:7) This ability to be an overcomer and a conquerer is thorough the gifting that God has given the family that you are adopted into.
In Nehemiah’s life he was given a task that was insurmountable but he accepted it because of the compassion and passion he had for Jerusalem and his God, which is our God. He detailed the work of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem and sought the help of those who would join in respectively and positively understanding the work to be done. Yes, of course, there were the enemies that tried to discourage him and stop him from completing the goal he had been given. (Nehemiah 2:10) He actually told them that he was to busy building the wall to come down and negotiate with them over thier requests about his work. (Nehemiah 6:3) As he continued to do his work that the Lord had burdened him with the days became weeks and weeks months till the work was complete. During this concession of Nehemiah’s labor he prayed that God would remember the good he had done for the people. (Nehemiah 5:19) He had not burdened others for the cost of the sacrifices, he continued to do good. All along the way he had to stand and take charge over the fear that was consistently spoken into the nobles of the land. He would remind them, as all should be reminded even in this hour that God was awesome and would take up for them… (Nehemiah 4:14)
To continue on this journey of repair in the lives of people today there is a bright contrast between building and tearing down the walls that keep God out of the hearts of men. Just remember that which has been promised and also conveyed through testimony is good and will come to pass. One can look into the eyes of prayer and say also in courage and faith that God will remember the good that has been done through the services rendered to the people of God. (Nehemiah 13:14) That God’s house would be sanctified and the gates be guarded by His called priesthood. (Nehemiah 13:22; 1 Peter 2:5; 1 Peter 2:9) Remember the good and not the bad, all that was accomplished by prayer and continuous recognition of God and His promise! Never stop and ponder on the negative but always keep going forward looking to the completion of your goal as you serve in His Kingdom’s service.

Becoming a Christian just did not happen because it was vogue. To many so-so believers act as though they are doing God a favor by acting out some form of Christianity that does not exist in God’s Word. Well, it exists but it is not the true birthing of a new person spiritually. Being sustained by the Almighty God and living and have your being in Him cost a price that no one could ever have paid. The debt of salvation cannot be equated with monetary value of any size. Jesus went to Calvary and died a death that was horrific, humiliating and repulsive in appearance. It was morally repugnant, unpleasant and absolutely violent! His reason for this was simply that anyone that would repent of sin would be forgiven and regenerated by His love and washed by His Word. The truth of this matter of salvation can never be really explained in terms that are totally understandable by our finite and corrupt minds. Since salvation has entered into the hearts of men there has been debates and scorn over the truth of Jesus Christ. Paul spent his entire saved life trying to convince both Jew and Gentile that Jesus did this for them. This was not a futile act of Christ nor a a lack of trust by Paul, it is God’s Love being poured out on undeserving humanity through the aqueduct of His Grace. Jesus took the punches and the spit along with the scourging and ending in His crucifixion so we may be able to walk worthy in His mercy and justice.
When Nicodemus heard that Jesus was claiming to be the Savior by what he had witnessed and heard, he went to meet with Jesus privately. (John 3:1-17) Jesus answered him in spiritual truths and also was very precise in His declaration of a rebirth through the Spirit not the flesh. That is exactly why people today in this modern time, more than ever, cannot get what salvation really is! What it is not can be easily stated: It is not fleshly nor carnal and cannot be accomplished on works alone… (Ephesains 2:9) This miracle of regeneration and spiritual rebirth can only come through Christ Jesus. It can only happen by Grace, bestowed by God and being justified through faith (Romans 5:1), Jesus Christ has done the bidding for our souls through His payment of suffering and sacrifice leading to death, which He did not owe, that we may live! Yet, He rose for us and conquered the corruptible seed of man and took the victory of the grave. Sin lost its sting and eternity was born in the hearts of His creation that have repented. (1 Corinthians 15:55-56)
What does it take from mankind? The same it took for Christ a death to the self will (Luke 9:23) and the determination to follow after life that God has gifted to all! Having a determined faith is what gives victory over the barriers of life and fills in the chasm that is deep and wide. Looking past your circumstances and seeing the cause of Christ will bring you into His everlasting fulfillment of life forevermore. Go to your own Jerusalem and you will find that Calvary’s hill is empty and the tomb is clear… He is now praying for you. (Hebrews 7:25)

In the beginning everything was open, Adams and Eve had total access to everything in the Garden of Eden except the Tree of Good and Evil. (Genesis 2:15) The one thing that God commanded them not to eat from, they ate from. The “access denied” was placed before them. After they ate of this tree God spoke to them in such a way that the rest of the Garden was put away from them also. (Genesis 3:23) They now had to live on this earth with a denied access to the fullness of God. The Tree of Life now was closed to man. There now stood an angel, a mighty Cherubim, to guard the tree from man’s access. (Genesis 3:24) Thus, man began his existence on this earth learning to live in a denied access relationship to God’s fullness. As the pages turn through the centuries that followed, the Lord reached out to His people with the Law and made a valiant effort for man to come back to Him through sacrificial actions and steps that would be temporary and repetitive. These actions were set at certain dates and times and only certain Levitical priests could actually enter into the presence of His sanctuary. The “access denied” was still present because of the sin in men’s heart. After the sands of time fell from the present moment and became history, Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, stepped from eternity through the womb of a virgin, into time as it is known. He came to suffer and to die and to make away that the “whosoever” shall be able to come into the presence of God and worship Him from earth into eternity, yes, even forevermore. Jesus became the way, the door, the gate that all can come through and be reconciled to the Father in Heaven. (John 14:6; 2 Corinthians 5:17-19) Jesus came to break down the partition between man and God. He came to remove the mighty Cherubim from the gate and He became the gate. Through Him all men can be saved! (Romans 10:10-13) Many will try to enter this gate without the access “key” (repentance and forgiveness of sin by grace (Ephesians 2:8)) and they will not be able to! (Luke 13:24) The aspect of salvation is centered on repentance, grace, and faith. All three of these must be in involved to have access through Christ Jesus to God. The future all humanity in reference to an entrance into the Holy of Holies is based on the foundation of God’s love for the world. (John 3:16) What God has done is given an entrance back into His presence and fullness through the gift of his Son, Jesus. There is no longer any reason not to have access into the Sanctuary of His Grace and Mercy.
The state of being complete in understanding this is to know that Jesus is knocking at the door of the heart of humanity. Asking for an entrance into the heart so He can heal and rinse the heart of sin and depravity. The question rises to the surface of the mind of carnality and is faced off with the heart of the spiritual dimension, which is God’s revelation of Jesus Christ… Will the access denied be placed on the door of the heart? Jesus has been denied by men… not all but many have never unlocked the door for His entrance.

When people have no vision their thoughts begin to have no absolute direction or goal. (Proverbs 29:18) That is what sin does to the mind. It breaks down the emotion and the conviction that should be in place. When hope is bruised or deferred it makes the heart sick (Proverbs 13:12) Keeping a keen eye on the hearts of men the Lord knows who is righteous and who seeks to do His will. (2 Chronicles 16:9). There is always hope when one knows the Lord and the integrity of His promises. Throughout the history of creation there is the answering of prayer and the response to the cries of God’s people. He places vision in the hearts of people so they will pursue the dream that has been set in their heart. The continuation of life will always be based on a vision for something promised and something that can be gained. The catalyst to this is the hope and faith which is present in the lives of God’s children.
Life offers so many paths that may not lead to the place you are going. It is always better to use wisdom and inquire of the Lord just where you are heading. (Proverbs 19:21) Making decisions is never easy especially when there is no help or counsel. Getting counsel is using wisdom and will establish the base of hope one needs to continue forward (Proverbs 15:22) Having a knowledge of God is the starting point but ensuing a relationship with Him is the life that will have vision and purpose. There are so many dreams and plans that person can have and try to grasp but with the Lord leading the steps are guided by His Word and Wisdom. (Proverbs 16:9) The Word speaks of God as being (and is) exceedingly and abundantly more than able to do all that we ask or think… (Ephesians 3:20) There is nothing that can change God’s love for His people and His desire to embrace the prayers of His people. (Romans 8:35) There is always hope no matter what! Even when things seem to be dictating that hope is gone, remember that to those who love God, all things work together for the good… (Romans 8:28) Not having restraint because of a lack of revelation is not to be blamed on God who reveals His love every moment in time as we know it. The greatest revelation ever given to mankind was that Jesus Christ came to save the world from an eternal hell that was nor prepared for them. (John 3:16-17) The hope that He gave mankind at that moment, after revealing this to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, (Genesis 3:15) is a hope that fails not! A promise that will never fail and the revelation of His love continues and convinces everyday.
The reason that people have no vision or cast of restraint is simply their lack of and choosing not hear and see the truth in the Word of God (Acts 28:26-27) There is revelation so there is hope and that hope does not disappoint. (Romans 5:5)

The farmer plants seed in the proper season and waters them so a harvest will be produced. The reason there is planting and reaping is all about the harvest produced. If the seed is not planted in good ground, (which is really left up to definition) it will not produce a proper harvest even if it is watered. When a seed is bad it may produce and often does a sorely harvest. When the watering process is not done properly, either under watering or over watering, the seed will not produce the excellent produce that it was meant to. All this defines spiritually the absolute importance of planting and watering proportionality and effectively to see the increase in the heart of an individual. (Jeremiah 4:3) Bringing into the center of the condition of any heart there must be a breaking and a nurturing. The fallow ground which is allowed to lie idle during the growing season. That is why we must breakup this ground in hearts so it may be sown during the planting season. Seasons are very important to Kingdom work here on this earth. The Law of the Harvest (Genesis 8:22) and the season will not end. There is a season to plant and a time to harvest. (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
When Jesus spoke the parable of the sower He expressed the intent of the sower and what he seed would produce. If the seed was sown in good ground it produced a good harvest and ultimately it would not produce in bad ground. To many problems and too much destruction can happen if the seed is not protected. The birds of the air can live off seed that was not planted good and secure in the ground. Amplifying this thought one could easily grasp the affect that would have on a heart that was not protected by the Word and secure in the relationship with God. The one with the right relationship will be like a tree planted by the water…(Psalm 1:3) Understanding the purpose of each person in the nurturing and making of disciples will give the depth of insight needed in sowing the Word in the heart of the lost. Paul used great wisdom as he penned the words found in 1 Corinthians 3:6… A planter, one who waters, and the increase comes from God. This is why this concept of sowing and reaping has such a monumental effect on those in the Kingdom’s work. Patience in this spiritual “farming” is so vastly important to the increase of God’s Kingdom here. As the farmer waits for the former and latter rain so we must wait for the Lord to produce in us the promise of His coming. The seeds that we plant are not bad seeds they are seeds of truth that will change lives beyond our own reach and capabilities. When we sow into a good heart that heart produces a harvest that in turn will sow into other faithful people, who will pant in others. (2 Timothy 2:2)
The plan of the farmer is to plant in due season and water consistently with a temperance to guard the seed from becoming unproductive. During this process the roots grow down and then up comes the harvest. Spiritually this avenue or processes of evangelism has a promise attached… What you sow that is what you will reap! Sow the good ground and reap the good harvest. (2 Corinthians 9:6; Galatians 6:7-8)

What God promises is what will happen even if no one believes it!If there was not a fan of God on this earth He would still be the most popular and dynamic ever. He is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. (Hebrews 13:8) Since the beginning of time the Lord has spoken thing into existence or or into the presence of the natural. (Romans 4:7) His eternal creativity demands only His command and it will be. The life we live here on this earth is a natural life which has a supernatural advantage when we walk in the Spirit. Every one of God’s children should embrace the supernatural with supernatural faith. The prophetic word when spoken is actually calling into existence before it is even existing! The meaning being that even though it may not have been witnessed by anyone yet it will be if God has spoken the prophetic word through the prophet. The reference to this would be when Jesus sent His disciples to get the colt for Him to ride on. He spoke it before it actually happened and it did happen! (Matthew 21:2) God’s Word is a creative word and it establishes the future. That is why we can be confident of His Word, knowing that we have a hope and good future. (Jeremiah 29:11) Jesus said He came to give us life and that life more abundantly…(John 10:10) This is prophetic word which is established in Heaven revealing itself here on this earth! (John 14:10) When the Spirit of God was given to us, He will and does speak, only what the Father speaks… (John 16:13) We have testimony after testimony of this creative Word throughout the Bible and up to our present day!
The walk of Moses was based on God’s creative Word and the miracles that came about from what He has promised Moses were incredible and certainly impossible for men to create. As Moses led the Jewish people from slavery to freedom. He came to the Red Sea! Flooded too its highest point and not able to cross! (Exodus 14) The armies of Pharaoh chasing heatedly behind them. Moses knows that God is a God of the miraculous… He has seen so much since the burning bush experience… (Exodus 3:2) God is a present God with a present Word for a future full of hope and supernatural design. Moses stopped and looked at the crowd of people and hearing them complain about the God who had just delivered them from 400 years of slavery, (Exodus 14:11-12) immediately went to prayer… God responds with a Word of creativity yet it was with a surprise to Moses that God would speak such at that moment… For Moses had already been forewarned that God would do a mighty work for them…(Exodus 14:4) He spoke to Moses “Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward. (Exodus 14:15 ESV). When this word was pronounced by God it would not matter how many doubters were there God was committed to delivering His people. The Angel of the Lord moved about and separated the truth from lies of hell. God breathed upon the waters of the Red Sea and they separated! (Exodus 14:21) They were delivered from the power of lies and bondage and brought into the promise of God’s sustaining power.
What God will do for you is breathe upon that which has come in between you and His promise for you! Don’t fret over the scoffers and doubters, the complainers and contemptuous people speaking negative words. The Lord has spoken and nothing will stop His Word from completing in you that which He has begun! (Philippians 1:6)

The most important detail in serving God is to learn to “stand still” when your cannot go any further. Where so many people forget is when it is really should be remembered. The Word declares to that when we have done all that we can do we should stand in power of His might. (Ephesians 6:13). Knowing that without Him we cannot win the battle that is raging around us and in us. We need to stand still and witness the salvation of the Lord in our lives on a day to day basis. (Exodus 14:13). There are many crossings in our lives that seem to be impossible for us to make! People are always speaking what they believe is possible and not what God states is possible, which is His miraculous power working to benefit His people. Moses was up against one of stand still moments and he went to prayer! the message from the Lord is the “Stand Still” message for all eternity. Just watch what He can do for you in the midst of your impossible circumstance. His working amongst His people are awesome and not to be looked at as commonplace or in some ho-hum fashion. He is God and desires to bless you and keep you from the wiles of the enemy. That is why putting on the whole armor of God is vitally important to a daily lifestyle of Christianity. In the time of Job’s sensitive and undesirable situation this directive was given to him: “Listen to this, O Job;Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God. (Job 37:14 NKJV) This moment in time for Job was needed! He needed to consider all the wondrous works of an Almighty God. No matter how bad the situation and just how many friends are declaring to you the why and ways of man’s wisdom, remember to stand still and consider God.
When all the armies of despair and ridicule are forming a unit of one to destroy you and all you work do not be alarmed and do not surrender but position yourself according to the Word of God and see what the Lord will do. For the battle belongs to God and He will fight it for you. (2 Chronicles 20:17).
Having all this on our side what shall we fear of God be for us? (Psalm 56:4) The Lord, He is God, and He is mighty to save. When we wrestle in prayer and we wrestle against an enemy that is truly a power, but not the power of God! But remember the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but spiritual (mighty in God) to tearing down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). This being the life of a warrior of Christ Jesus.
He has not given us a spirit of fear but of power (2 Timothy 1:7). Waiting of the Lord means standing still and doing just that, and your strength will be renewed. (Isaiah 40:31) Each day we need a renewal of strength and a reminder of God’s Grace in our lives. God is waiting for you to stand still so He can give you a “stand still moment” in your life. Start out each day with a “stand till moment” and witness the power of God in your life daily.

There is a such a position of conviction when you walk with the Lord. Coming into the Kingdom of God is really a magnificent experience… An experience that cannot be ousted by man. Growing in the Lord Jesus Christ by being nurtured and discipled by mature Christians that have like faith is also a dynamic part of Kingdom living… (Ephesains 4:1-13) Christ being the center of all that you do and hope for. If we are going to have a spiritual life the new need to walk by the Spirit… But I say, walk by the Spirit (Galatians 5:16 ESV). Know that the flesh is always trying to be gratified and comforted in some way! When you continue in the Spirit you will be led by the Spirit and the flesh will not have it victory over you (Galatians 5:18). No law of the flesh can never conquer the Spirit led life. Those that are saved from the law of the flesh have been crucified with Christ and sin no longer has it dominion of them… (Romans 6:14). As we live by the Spirit we we will walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:25) and we will pray in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:18).
The uniqueness of the Holy Spirit and His presence in our lives is that He has come to us with purpose and will guide us through life with conviction. Being convinced of His presence and obeying His guidance is a life long experience and you grow in this daily. The Word never takes from the Holy Spirit but gives the utmost respect and place to Him. Each one in the Kingdom should know that they are no longer their own because they have been bought with a price and that price is the Blood of Jesus Christ. All should know that they are the Temple of the Holy Spirit…(1 Corinthians 6:19). He has come as the Comforter and the Minster of all truth in the life of the child of God (John 14:15). He has come to guide all that are called by the Name of Christ. He will testify of Christ and speak on the authority of what the the Father says. (John 16:12-14). Having this guidance and support in the life that is led by Christ and maintained through prayer and faith is absolutely awesome and noteworthy. Daily the Holy Spirit bears witness in our hearts that we are the sons and daughters of God… (Romans 8:16). As this continues we are completely reminded that those that are led by the Spirit and that are minds are set on the things of the Spirit… (Romans 8:5). So in base truth and then depth and richness of God’s presence we become the sons of God through the Spirit of Adoption and continue to be glorified with Christ… (Romans 8:14-16). The Spirit helps us in our weakness and prays through us when we do not know how to pray… (Romans 8:26).
So when Christ breathed on His disciples (John20:22) and then when the Father sent His Spirit to the upper room at the birth of the Church (Acts 2:1-4) there are dynamics that goes to every generation… For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself. (Acts 2:39 ESV)

The “Go therefore” Matthew 28:19 implies the aspect of social issues. Going into the whole of the world again repeated in Acts 1:8 in reference to being a witness of the power of regeneration. Socially this world has been and continues to be in a capsule of unawareness of people who are in need. Churches have not only closed out people of different backgrounds and cultures but they have shut the door on their own neighbors. This is a travesty to the purpose of Christianity in this earth. These issues of social masquerading which puts a false face on the the calling of the Church in the 21st Century. Since the very moment of Jesus’ ministry on this earth He showed the example of true social interaction. He loved mankind and was out amongst the people sharing the Word in truth and in power. In Hebrews, when God testified of His power and reminded us that we must pay close attention to what we have heard…(Hebrews 2:1,4). When Jesus told the parable of the dinner that was prepared and no one came, He did not just close the doors He shared how they went out and compelled them to come in….(Luke 14:23). This Gospel that is preached righteously, humbly and taught is a social gospel and embraces humanity in its worst state. The Church must stop playing this game of who is invited and who is not…. The “club” feature is not in the Word or does it promote salvation to the lost and desolate. What it does do though it supports the “fancy” and “pageantry” of preachers and the “super” building that are being built as the poor and rejected go hungry and hear not the call to repentance. The “Who is Who” in the house of God does not impress God at all. What impresses God is a total surrender of heart and soul to the duty of God’s purpose through you. Yes, we have terrible social issues toady… Racism, even though we act like that is not true! We have “hood” issues. In other words if you are not from a certain neighborhood you are not welcome in that circle. The level of financial worth and presence in some churches today causes intense social rejection. This is a hard look at reality and now is the time to change, yes, it should have never morphed into this state but it has. The care of the lost is given to us in a responsible and trusting manner.
Jesus made a real reference to social issues when he told the disciples that if they are speaking in my name they are part not “apart”….(Luke 9:49-50). The knowledge of the Churches dilemma is not to be turned from but wrestled to a conclusion. We are either the Church that has been saved and sanctified to do the work of Christ on this earth or we are a anti-social group of people that will only socialize with their one kind. The other part of this problematic personality of the Church is that we over socialize and do not share the power of the Word for fear we may offend. Either we are or we are not! The choice in Heaven has been made! (Matthew 7:21; Luke 6:46)
