Endurance is not what you find in a energy drink or in some sort of chemical to give you a longer lasting ability in tough times. Endurance is active faith being applied during pressing times. What we have read in the scriptures and the purpose of our learning the Word is to be able to endure. (Romans 15:4) Life is a gift and it came with a cost not to us but to Jesus Christ. He endured the hardship of the cross for us to be able to have the mercies of God applied to our lives. His mercy endures forever….(Psalm 118:1) Life is a true experience and we learn daily in life about life itself. Even though there are days when life seems to be a flower garden experience it has also days of trials and storms that seem never to have an end. Jesus stated that we should not be so concerned about tomorrow because the days troubles are enough…. (Matthew 6:34) Take each day as it comes and endure through the rough spots! Learn to pray about each situation as it rises i your life daily. Also, keep praising God in everything, rejoicing about life, and consistently lifting up your request unto Him. (1 Thessallonians. 5:16-18)

It certainly can be confusing when life begins to dictate its ease when hardships are surrounding the moments of your life. The key to all this is to endure and keep enduring through each trail. Actively establishing your steps according the the Word of God. His Word is steadfast and true and it will lead you unto the right paths. The road of Christianity is a road of endurance. The staying power that one needs is taking it past the norm of ease and into the arena of perseverance, grit and determination. Being determined to live out your faith in Christ and to have the hope that is a substance to your heart and evidence to your convictions. The dynamics of patience lies in the fact of your ability or strength to accept the perplexities and stay tolerant. Reading through the Word of God shows the endurance the children of God had to have when facing opposition to their faith in Christ. The peace that Jesus has left us (John 14:27) is paramount to success in pressing times. It is easy to give up but it is never easy to continue on. Giving up and changing direction is not the way to build character or learn how God can take you tough circumstance and make it good for you… (Romans 8:28) The choice to endure is always left in the heart. You make a choice to continue to the end, praying and rejoicing along the way. Yes, there are times when the emotions take over and the only way to make it is to quit. The only way to get relief is to change direction. The only way to face the day is to turn from it! That is not what determines the true outcome of a faithful child of God. The determined outcome is to stay faithful even when you do not want to. That is the way to succeed in life. To keep going toward your goal and never taking your focus off what you have hoped for and dreamed for. Keep going forward in the direction that God is leading you. (Hebrews 10:36) Pressing toward the high calling, that upward call of God in Christ. (Philippians 3:14) No matter how the situation looks. Press on and know that endurance is rewarded with blessings from God. (Hebrews 12:1)
