Relationships take time to build and consistent forgiveness is always needed in a world of errors. Often people go around acting like the world is perfect and nothing is wrong. There is a real difficulty in relationships and keeping the m sound and centered on the principles of the Word of God. Trying to live a life and not serve the friendship with patience and love is like being on a treadmill. You are moving but actually you are in the same place when you are done. Submitting to one another is a determined action that is part of a relationship. Caring for the others feelings and how they may react to situations is vastly important. The “key” ingredients in any relationship, whether in a marriage, friendship or business is patience and wisdom. It take grace to be in a relationship with God and patience to be in one with humanity.
The cost of a relationship with God was Jesus Christ’s suffering and death at Calvary. This opening the heart to God through Jesus and a godly sorrow (2 Corinthians 7:10) on our part has brought newness of life to everyone. God has put His all in to having a sanctified relationship with mankind. His statement to come out from amongst them…(2 Corinthians 6:17-18) is a serious directive from Him. This command stipulates that God does not and will not have a friendship and son-ship relation when it is shared with sin. He is Holy and He wants all relationships to be holy. The fact of God being that example to us is considered and applied to relationships between people. So many marriages have been torn apart for the reason that God has not been the center nor have that couples applied the Word to their lives. Have a love for one another is pinnacle in building a long term friendship and a sanctified marriage. Loving as Christ would love the Church and loving Christ as the Savior and Son of God.
Friendships have broken apart because their was not a spiritual connection that produced the patience and understanding. The perfection that people try to get from one another is not possible. Building and rebuilding is what it takes to continue in the maintenance of a friendship. Even when one mentors or coaches someone in life there are qualities that are needed which are wisdom and understanding blended with foresight. Looking ahead and planning is also a “key” to implementing the right future of a person who is being coached. Jesus made the statement to His disciples when they were able to understand that He had brought them to a level of relationship where He could called them friends. (John 15:15) They then knew as we should also realize now that a relationship take time to mature and be nurtured into a reverence toward Christ. Caring and sharing both in good times and difficult times. Always praying for each other and continuing in communion with the Lord Jesus. For He is the High priest that mending the relationship between mankind and the Father. (Hebrews 3:1; Hebrews 4:14-16) Finishing the work that will for eternity bridge the door of a broken relationship to a reconciliation that is simply God reaching to mankind and ‘saying let’s be friends.’
