The Difference

What is the difference between the Church and the secular society that claims “an open Jesus”. That is, a “Jesus” that just understands the maters of life and will not ever be judging the soul as He has been “taught” by many to judge. Sort of a “marshmallow” savior that is so soft that one can just lean in and be comforted but never challenged to be like the “real” Christ of the Gospels. It really matters when you come into a relationship with God. He has brought every solution to every problem. The conduit for for this absolute “set free” attitude is Jesus’ purpose and placement in and on this earth. He came to set us free from the “stuff” that we are so readily to carry around. The solution to the incorrigible attitudes that we confront daily, from the morning mirror to the evening “wink”. These attitudes feed off the secular, carnal, adeptness that comes from being overburdened by a problem. Each human being takes the approach of independence from God as the problem or confrontational aspirations bring an effectual response from the inner-man. However, man is not created to last in such a battle when the Lord puts His mercy as a “weight” on the heart which controls the inner-man and the will. The immediate creative response which is uncovered by mercy is to place the solution as a oil upon a wound. Knowing this brings out the “attitude” of change and the tilling of the heart’s fallow ground to receive the “seeds” of the Word of God. The difference is simple, secular response to a holy God is a matter of time and strength compared to the “hunger” of a person’s heart that responds to the burden and weight of mercy.

Moving Into His Solutions

The beginning of all blessing must come by the premier activity of “belief”.  I really like the fact that Hebrews 11:6 just puts it all into perspective:

But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

We truly serve the God of solutions. We praise the God of possibilities. We worship the God of promise(s). We are living in a day of great turmoil and absolute doubt of a caring God who is the answer to life’s difficulties. That same God is willing through grace to abolish all doubt by activating the miraculous through those who would just believe.

Ponder for a moment that your ears would hear the solution and not problem. Ponder also, that you do not have the answer to your problem but you could find the solution through a relationship with a Holy God! Ponder now that even though life’s difficulties may arise at the most inopportune time you would have the faith to be the overcomer and have the “more than conqueror attitude”.

When you look into the Word of God you will find that every difficulty had a solution from the Creator of the heavens and the earth. From the moment of Adams and Eve’s fall in the garden to the moment that is passing you by right now God has the solution for your difficulty.  He is able, yes, exceedingly abundantly more than able to take care of all that we ask or think! (Ephesians 3:20).

I really like the story of Abraham who was as dead and Sarah had a womb that was dry, yet, God spoke to him about being a father of many nations with descendants! Instead of denying that miracle he embraced the God of miracles and believed! He grew strong in faith and gave glory to God! He gave respect to the promise of God! (Romans 4:17-21).

Now activate your faith and believe right now that God will perform in you that which He has promised.
